The reason for writing this post is that sometimes we need to remember that not everyone is as well-versed in Instagram as people who work in social media marketing. We recently had a back-and-forth on an account we manage with a user who didn't understand what 'in the caption' meant. They literally didn't know how to find the caption on the Reel to see what we were referencing.

So this is your reminder to stop making assumptions, whether with your clients or your audience. Just because you know something doesn't mean it's clear for everyone else.
